For April fools, we wanted to make something impactful that stood out among all the other brand stunts.
Coming out of the recent release of Mac Jr and Grand Mac, and playing off the momentum off the "tiny trend" the MicroMac was created.
We released teaser content to drive intrigue. Followed up by a product launch video with the same look and feel as the previous Big Mac release, the MicroMac was launched. To add credibility a making-of video was made with McDonald's own Chef Mike as the foil. To push it a bit more we created a page on our dot com site to drive to from search and treat it like a true product launch.
